Mary L. Klingensmith, age 91, of Depot St., Jamestown passed away Monday evening, November 27, 2017 in UPMC Horizon Greenville.
She was born in Greenville on October 12, 1926 a daughter of Alma and Nora (Lanning) Cadman. She was a 1943 graduate of the former Penn High School. On January 13, 1944 she married Walter E. Klingensmith, he passed away February 1, 1996.
Mary was employed as a waitress at the Mark Twain Manor, Jamestown, The Dairy Isle in Jamestown where she worked for many years, Klingensmith Mini Mart, and helped sort uniforms at Camp Perry Army Camp during WWII. Mary enjoyed bingo, traveling, going on cruises, reading, and going to casinos. She was a member of the Jamestown VFW # 5424 Auxiliary and Jamestown Fire Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters; Kathryn Shannon and her husband Thomas of Jamestown and Sue Pier of Greenville, two sons; Walter E. Klingensmith III and his wife Deb of Adamsville and Paul J. Klingensmith and his wife Chris of Jamestown, three sisters; Norma Dillon and her husband Bob of Greenville, Loraine Murphy and her husband Frank of Jamestown, and Carol Richards of Jamestown, a brother; Dick Cadman and his wife Brenda of Jamestown, also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Janet Peden, and a brother, Bill Cadman.

So sorry to hear of the loss of my Aunt Mary. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. I have a lot of great memories through the years with Aunt Mary. God Bless.
