Mary L. (Gehr) Thompson, age 64, of W. Jamestown Rd., W. Salem Twp., passed away Monday evening, September 18, 2017 in the ER of UPMC Horizon, Greenville after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Conneautville, PA on December 31, 1952 to James and Wanda (Shearer) Gehr. Mary attended Reynolds High School and had been employed in production for 14 years at Combine Tactical Systems, Jamestown. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #805, Greenville.

On February 22, 1974 she married Ricky Lee Thompson, Sr., he passed away July 22, 2016.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Liska of Greenville; two sons, Christopher Thompson and his fiance Beth Shull of Greenville and Ricky Lee Thompson, Jr. of Greenville, seven grandchildren, Ashley Thompson, Christina Lewis, Crystan Liska, Jacob Liska, Natalie Thompson, Sam Liska, and Alyssa Liska and four great-grandchildren; Colton Wilkerson, Connor Wilkerson, Carter Uber and Kinsley Knight.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, James “JR” Gehr and a son-in-law, Christopher Liska.

Cremation was chosen and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, PA.

    So sorry to hear about the loss of Mary. We knew each other years ago when we lived near Kremis and rode the same bus to school. I knew the family well, may she rest in peace. Forever at peach with Ricky, her parents & Jim (brother).
