    Dear Julie and Children,

We were very saddened to hear of Michael’s passing. Mike’s dad and I met in 1952 and are best friends, even though we hadn’t been living in Pennsylvania for some time. But we now live at St. Paul’s and are fortunate to see John almost every week. Our own eight children were close in age to Mike and his siblings. Virginia and I often thought about all the “Anderson kids” and how they were doing. You are in our prayers and if there’s anything we can do, please let us know.

I only knew Mike through a Steelers football message board, and the occasional email. If he was anything in life as he was to chat/talk with, I can only imagine the empty hole he’s left in your lives. Razor sharp wit and the intelligence to go with it, the grace to never cut too deep (even when deserved), always knew just how to pour oil on the waters…. I could go on and on, but I’m sure you already know all these things. My deepest and most heartfelt sympathies, though quite belated, are with you. We (the members of the message board) only learned of his passing in the last few days. We will all miss him, very much.

Leave a Condolence
