    To the Nelson Murrin Family:
I was very sad to hear of the passing of my special friend, Nelson. He was a very devoted, caring and thoughtful man. I will miss him coming into our office for his nail care appointment with me. He always talked about his sweetheart Antonio, the love of his life. I would bring him a bottle of his favorite wine on the holidays and he was always so appreciative. I will miss him so much! My deepest sympathy and prayers, to all his family.

Mr Murrin was my homeroom teacher at Mentor High School and my 10th grade English teacher. We reconnected when I started working at his local bank. I stopped by to visit him at his home on occasion. He was such a sweet man. I will miss driving by his home to see if the door was open to welcome visitors. My deepest sympathy to his family. He will be misses.

I just called the Mentor Police to check on Nelson.
I was quote saddened to hear of his passing.
My deepest sympathies to his entire family.
I met Nelson in 1995, when I bought my first Nissan Quest from him. We immediately became friends.
I installed the roofing & siding on his home in 1999.
I would bring him milkshakes whenever I would visit with him. Nelson bought my 26 year old son
a Barney doll when he was 5 years old.
He was such a wonderful & sweet man, & a true friend.
I will miss my friend dearly.
He is happy now, be abuse he is back with his beloved Antonio.

Oh goodness….I accidentally found this obituary….That explains why I have not received returned correspondence from USA from him….I was just about to call Uncle Nelson from Australia….to see if he is ok during this Covid-19 crisis…My heart aches to hear of his passing….My love goes out to all his family in USA….A wonderful, kind gentleman who looked after my aunt (my mother’s sister) so well and with so much love…We take comfort that he is with the love of his life – Antonia (“Antonietta”)….
