Nettie M. Marini, age 85, of Greenville, passed away peacefully Friday, October 29, 2021 after a brief illness.
Nettie was born March 5, 1936 in Greenville, PA to Floyd and Elva (Anthony) Billig. She was married to Marty Marini for 54 years; he preceded her in death on May 24, 2012.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and daughter, loved by all. There wasn’t a person Nettie did not meet that she was not kind to. She was a sharp dresser, one of the greatest cooks and bakers, still having family night spaghetti dinners with her homemade sauce she was famous for. A private lady, yet gracious to all and always putting others first.
She was a lifelong member of Christian Assembly Church, Greenville, PA. She believed in praying and reading bible scriptures on a daily basis.
For many years she worked in the kitchen of the Greenville County Club. She also spent many years cleaning and caring for small businesses and homes.
What she cared the most for, was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Gina (Frank) Moorhead, Austintown, OH and a son Mario (Christine) Marini, Greenville, PA and her grandchildren Taylor Rapovy, Tiffany Rapovy, Nicolette Marini, Shaina Marini and Michaela Marini and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Laverne Billig.

So very sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss our condolences and prayers for you
Gina, Mario, and families,
It was with a heavy heart that I read of your Mother’s passing. Your Mother and Father were both such a blessing to me while I was attending school in Greenville. Your Father delivered mail to my Uncle and Aunt on Stewart Avenue. He never failed to have a smile and something positive to say. They always had time to talk with me when I attended church.
I pray that you are comforted knowing that they now rest in heaven.
