Norbert “Lee” Kerr, age 71, of Pymatuning Twp., Greenville, passed away Monday morning, July 9, 2018 in The Hospice House in Poland, OH.

He was born in Greenville on June 28, 1947 a son of Wallace D. and Mary M. (McClimans) Kerr. Lee served his country in the United States Navy where he was on the cable repair ship USNS Neptune.  He was a truck driver for 30 years and retired from Motor Carrier Services.  After his retirement he was employed at Hovis Auto and Truck Supply. 

Lee enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and fishing. He was a bass player for many years in the country band “Little Run Band”.

He is survived by a daughter; Leah Olson and her companion Matt Rimer of Greenville, two sons; Marcus Kerr and his wife Connie of Grove City and Keith Kerr and his wife Martha of Pittsburgh, three brothers; Wallace Kerr and his wife Wannetta of Hadley, Raymond Kerr of Greenville, and Leroy Kerr and his wife Patty of Jamestown, a sister; Joyce Barner of Sylmar, CA, six grandchildren; Jacob, Jamie, Jordan, Morgan, Anabelle, and Paige; a great grandson; Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sister-in-laws, Judy Kerr and Cheryl Kerr, a brother-in-law, James Barner.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.

    Lee worked for us for almost 20 years back in 1970″s and 1980″s in Grove City. He was a key employee, excellent worker and just an all around great guy. We offer our sympathy and prayers to Leah, Keith and Marcus for the loss of their FATHER.

    Sorry for your loss Leah Keith and Mark he will be missed a lot by a lot of people. He was a good man. I will remember all the good times I had with him playing golf and camping. He is in a good place now with no pain ..I know he will be looking down at all of us and making sure we are doing good. R.I.P. Lee till we meet again.
