Norma J. Beckdol, age 86, formerly of Goetsch Rd., Sugar Grove Twp., passed away Sunday morning, April 8, 2018 in Countryside Nursing Home, Mercer.
She was born in Greenville on June 9, 1931 a daughter of Reuben and Evelyn (Probst) Beckdol. She was a 1949 graduate of Penn High School and was employed for 40 years as a secretary at Penn Power Co., Clark, PA.
Norma was a member of Greenville Alliance Church, where she served as the church organist, Sunday school secretary, was a member of the church women's association, and served on the church board of directors. She enjoyed music, craft work, and had a love for animals. She is survived by many loving cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Norma was a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ long before my wife and I arrived in Greenville, PA .Our “Senior Saints have many happy remembrances of her at the Greenville Alliance Church. Thank you Norma for your faithful service to the King of kings and the Lord of lords, in Whose presence you now reside. As the Word of God says, ” to be absent from the body is to be at home with the Lord.”
I remember norma as i was growing up. She will be remembered as having a sincere love for God. May she rejoice in her homegoing where she is before her Maker as well as in the midst of all her loved ones who have gone home before her. May the love of our Lord and Savior be with us all until we meet again.
