Rae Marie Brooks, age 87, of Cedar Dr. Hempfield Twp., passed away Wednesday morning January 30, 2019 in the ER of UPMC Horizon Greenville. She was born in Jamestown, PA on October 26, 1931 to William M. and Lillian M. (Moore) Gribble. Rae Marie was a 1949 graduate of Jamestown High School, attended Thiel College and took Real Estate Courses at Penn State Shenango.
She was the owner/operator of Brooks Real Estate in Greenville for thirty years, retiring in 2002. Rae Marie was of the Protestant Faith and a member of White Shrine #47 and Order of Eastern Star #100. She was a member of the National Realtors Assoc., Mercer County Realtors Assoc., Greenville Area Board of Realtors and her other interests included, knitting, gardening, sewing and was a true animal lover.
On December 20, 1950 she married Delmar E. Brooks, he passed away on April 15, 1994. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother; William F. Gribble.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Area Public Library, 330 Main St., Greenville, PA 16125.

We are saddened to see of the loss of Rae Marie, and we want to extend our sympathy to her family and friends. She was a Past Matron & had been a member of our Eastern Star Chapter for more than 50 years. She will be missed by all.

I only knew Rae Marie for 3 1/2 years when I became her personal care aide. She wasn’t just another client, we became like family. I will miss seeing her every day.
My condolences to Rae’s family and friends. Her parents and mine were great friends and spent many summer days together along the dam. She will be missed by the community and so many others.
We have known Rae Marie for over 40 years, both as an excellent Realtor and a good Neighbor.
