Raymond R. Floch, age 82, of W. Countyline Rd., Jamestown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Jamestown May 15, 1934 to Rollie and Hazel (Morrin) Floch. He married Roberta J. Gurnee April 9, 1960; she survives. He was a brick layer for over 50 years working out of the Brick Layers Local #9, Pittsburgh and also a lifetime farmer. He was a PFC in the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He was a member of Stateline United Methodist Church, Jamestown. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family, which included his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, church friends and neighbors. He enjoyed driving tractors and collecting Farmall tractors.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 56 years; two sons, Jeffrey Raymond Floch of Langhorne, PA, Kevin Charles Floch and his wife, Sheryl A., of Meadville, PA; a daughter, Karen Sue Floch of Jamestown; a sister, Linnie Fenton of Greenville; and two grandsons, Steven C. Floch and his fiance, Andrea L. Burchard, of Ballston Spa, NY and Nicholas R. Floch of Meadville.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Harley, Amos, Charles, Gordon, Russell and an infant Ellis; and three sisters, Ardana, Arlene and Lorena.
