Richard "Rick" Chizmar, age 63, of Mullen Dr., Jamestown, passed away on Sunday morning, January 22, 2017 in UPMC Horizon Greenville.
He was born in Geneva, PA on July 15, 1953 son of Steve and Dorothy (Wimer) Chizmar. He was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School and on October 2, 1973, Rick married Debbie (Martell) Chizmar, she survives. He was employed as a welder at Excalibur Machine Co., Linesville and the former Trinity Industries, Greenville and previously worked at Tel-O-Post, Linesville. Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar in his band Southern Comfort, and spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and truly enjoyed watching them play football.
In addition to his wife; he is survived by a daughter, Brandy Wilkerson and her husband Phillip of Greenville; a brother, Gary Chizmar and his wife Annamarie of Jamestown; two sister-in-laws, Charlene Chizmar of Greenville and Darlene Carnes of Conneautville; five grandchildren, Kayla Chizmar, Jarred Wilkerson, Taylor Wilkerson, Tessa Wilkerson, and Alicia Kohl.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Chad Chizmar and Scott Chizmar; a brother, Dan Chizmar; and a sister, Marlene Chizmar.
