
Rita Y. Esmond, age 80, of Edgewood Dr. Ext., Pymatuning Twp., passed away Tuesday morning, November 22, 2016 in Orange Village, Masury, OH.
She was born in Sharon, PA on October 29, 1936 to John J. and Magdalene (Bassick) Yesko. She was a 1954 graduate of Sharon High School. Rita was a homemaker and had worked during the 1950's as a telephone operator at the former Westinghouse Electric Corp.
She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, and had been a past volunteer with the Transfer Cub Scouts and Transfer Little League and she had also helped with coordinating garage sales that benefited M.C.A.R. Her other interests included, flowers, crafts and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

On November 23, 1957 in the Church of Sacred Heart, she married Robert C. Esmond, Sr., he survives at home. Also surviving is her daughter, Diane Sosson and husband Gregory, three sons, Robert C. Esmond, Jr. and his wife Kimberly, David Esmond, and Daniel Esmond and his wife Mary, a brother, David Yesko and his wife Janice of Greenville, eight grandchildren, Christine, Laura, Caroline, Georgia, David, Jacob, Michael and Johnathon and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Anna Yesko and Margaret “Honey” Yesko, a brother, John Yesko and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Esmond.

While I cannot be with you at this difficult time, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Aunt Babe was a wonderful person and I will miss her smile and laughter at the kitchen table. May the Angels of Heaven be with you during this time of loss.
