D. Robert Christy, age 88, formerly of W. Main St., Greenville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 19, 2018 at Concordia of Wexford.
He was born in Atlantic, PA on May 6, 1930 to Leon J. and Ruth L. (Moore) Christy. Bob was a 1948 graduate of Penn High School, served in the U.S. Navy as a 3rd Class Seaman from 1948-1951 and attended Thiel College. He was employed for thirty-five years as a Loan Officer at the former First Seneca Bank in Greenville, retiring in 1987.
Bob was then employed as a Security Guard for over fifteen years at the former Trinity Industries. He was a member of Christian Assembly Church, Greenville, was a life member of B.P.O.E. #145, Greenville Family Moose Center #276, American Legion #140 and was a member of Greenville VFW Post # 3374.
He is survived by his daughter; Lisa Mislan and her husband William of Cranberry Twp., PA and two grandchildren; Kelsey and Ciara Mislan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons; James Christy and Daniel Christy, three sisters; Margaret Jayne, Dorothy Holt and Betty Hoffman and two brothers; Fred Christy and William Christy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Rd., Cabot, PA 16023.

The honest truth is there was no one else in this world like BOB. He will be missed by everyone who took the time to get to know him. I have to say….”He did it His way!”

I have many memories of uncle Bob..Lisa Im so sorry … I know what its like to lose your daddy… Think of all of our childhood times almost everyday… Just drove passed the house like a month ago showed my husband Dan where I spent alot of my childhood at…..
