Robert L. Ferry, age 92, formerly of Quartermile Rd., Hempfield Twp., passed away Friday morning, September 21, 2018 in St. Paul's.
He was born in Warren, OH on August 10, 1926 to Alton A. and Margaret J. (Burr) Ferry. Bob was a 1947 graduate of Penn High School and had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was employed as an Industrial Sales Service Manager for the former R.D. Werner Co. in Greenville for thirty-eight years, retiring in 1988.
Bob was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greenville, where he had served as a Trustee. He had a strong passion for the game of baseball and had played for many years in the Pymatuning Baseball League and had been a Little League Coach in Greenville.
On July 27, 1957 he married the former Martha J. Heile, she passed away on October 16, 2017.
Bob is survived by two sons; John A. Ferry of Phoenix, AZ and James R. Ferry and his wife Jody of Greenville, two grandchildren; Anastasia and Alexander Ferry, a sister-in-law; Jane Heile of Greenville, a brother-in-law: John Heile and his wife Lee of Elizabethtown, PA and an exchange student whom Bob grew close to, Daniela Baban-Hurrle and her husband Randy and their daughter Alexandria, all of Syracuse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a sister; Elaine Koady.

Margaret used to baby sit me in the 50s, and I k e Elaine. I kept in touch till I moved away in 1970. Margaret was a wonderful person. May Bob RIP as he goes with the faithful departed
