at the conclusion of the service. F&AM Eureka Lodge #290 will conduct a Masonic Service at 9:45am on Thursday. Burial will be in Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia.
Robert Clarence Heasley, age 89, of 339 E. Jamestown Rd., W. Salem Twp., passed away on Sunday morning, June 5, 2016 in St. Paul’s.Â
Mr. Heasley was born in Greenville on April 19, 1927 to Enoch C. and Marie J. (Vath) Heasley. He was a 1948 graduate of Penn High School and was a graduate of the Bliss Electrical School in Washington, D.C. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and had retired in 1984 as a Line Inspector for National Fuel Corp.Â
He was a member of Zion’s United Church of Christ, Greenville, where he had been active as a Boy Scout Troop Leader during the 1960’s.  He was also a member of F&AM Eureka Lodge #290 and had served as an advisor to DeMolay and was a member of American Legion Post #140, where he had served as a past commander. In addition, he was an avid gardener.Â
On November 27, 1947 he married the former Ruby Iola Ashman, she preceded him in death on September 11, 2011 .Â
Survivors include a son, Dr. Paul Heasley and his wife Elizabethof Clifton Park, NY, two sisters, Doris Seger of Greenville and Nanci Zarecky of Donaldsville, OH, a brother Roy Heasley of Hortense, GA, and two grandchildren, Kathryn Luu and Kevin Heasley.Â
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, Carl A. Heasley, and a grandson, Robert Paul Heasley.
