Robert S. McLaughlin, age 80, of Maple Rd., West Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Thursday morning, December 30, 2021 in Sharon Regional Medical Center after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

He was born in Greenville on November 14, 1941 a son of Carl and Twila (Jewell) McLaughlin. He was a 1959 graduate of Jamestown High School and on May 24, 1969 Bob married the former Margaret Kirkner, she survives. He was employed for over 30 years at Packard Electric in Warren, OH. He enjoyed playing tennis at Buhl Park with his fellow seniors, breakfast with his classmates once a month, going and having garage sales, and mowing his grass and maintaining his yard. Bob enjoyed attending country music concerts at Packard Music Hall in Warren, OH and attending family reunions.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Janet McLaughlin of Pittsburgh, Mark McLaughlin of Greenville, Kathy Huffman and her husband Nick of Warren, OH, and David McLaughlin of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Marian Graham and her husband William of Jamestown; six grandchildren, Justin McLaughlin, Nika Ciesluk, Vivi Ciesluk, Lyra Mekis, Oscar Huffman, and Adaline McLaughlin; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter Elaine Marie.
