Rodger L. Hummel, age 75, of Kennard-Osgood Rd., Sugar Grove Twp., Greenville, passed away Thursday morning, May 3, 2018 in his residence.

He was born on December 22, 1942 a son of Willis and Viola (Smill) Hummel.  He was a 1962 graduate of Philipsburg High School and on July 21, 1973 he married the former Marilyn Alabran, she survives.

Rodger was employed in the maintenance department at the former Angel's Cleaning Co., New Castle.  He was a member of New Apostolic Church where he enjoyed many church activities.  Rodger enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

In addition to his wife of Greenville, he is also survived by his two sisters; Paulette Hummel of Greenville and Janet Finger and her husband Scott of Philipsburg, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Donald Hummel, Wesley Hummel, and Harold Hummel.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday May 12, 2018 in New Apostolic Church, Greenville, with Rev. Willard Alabran, Pastor of the church, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to New Apostolic Church, 414 S. Main St., Greenville, PA 16125.
