H. Roger Lean, age 63, of Wasser Rd., Hempfield Twp., passed away Thursday morning, April 11, 2019.

He was born in Greenville on February 12, 1956 to Harry R. Lean, Jr. and Dorothy E. (Clark) Lean. Roger was a 1974 graduate of Greenville Senior High School and received his B.A. In Sociology from Edinboro University.

Roger attended Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Greenville. Since his disability in 1977, he has enjoyed participating in swimming, snow skiing and water skiing events and had helped organize and participated in wheelchair basketball at Edinboro University.

His other interests included coin collecting, reading, and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by his parents of Greenville, four brothers; Kevin Lean and his wife Teresa of Eden, NC, David Lean of Greenville, Brian Lean and his wife Marge of Philadelphia, PA and Eric Lean and his companion Shelly of Greenville and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion's Reformed U.C.C., 260 Main St., Greenville, PA 16125. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
