Ronald (Ron) J. Colner, age 71, of Hurlbert Rd, Jamestown, passed away Monday morning in his residence. Ron was a kind and gentle man. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He spent many happy years managing the Shenango Valley Boat Club in Westford, PA. Ron was the loving husband of the late Kathy Colner. Father of Cheryl Fraser, David Colner, Lisa Jenkins, James Scheall and Thomas Monahan; brother of Pat Bell, Also survived by "Pap Pap's" girl, Brittany Gill and thirteen additional grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He loved his pets with all his heart.
All who knew Ron will forever remember him and miss him dearly.

Ed and I have known Ron for over ten years. He became our friend when we joined the Shenango Valley Boat Club, and we loved him dearly. We used to call him Uncle Ron! He always had a smile on his face and a cigar in his hand! He would help anyone with anything – so kind and generous. He had many personal losses over the past few years including a wife he adored, and his faithful dogs Butchie and Buddy – yet Ron kept pushing through despite his pain. I’d like to think that now he has been reunited with the love of his life, and the dogs he adored so much. We are going to miss Ron very much – till we meet again one day. Godspeed Ron – and keep an eye on us all.
Love, Sandy and Ed Warner
I graduated with Ron from Saint Anselm High in 1962. Ron was always quite and kind. Ron’s brother George was married to my cousin Terri Mallon Colner.
Ron was a great guy and friend. He will be deeply missed.
