Ronald L. Coxson, Sr., age 64, of Jackson St., Jamestown passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 2, 2018 in UPMC Horizon Greenville.
He was born in Greenville on April 19, 1953 a son of Frank and Anna (Tumpak) Coxson. He was a 1971 graduate of Reynolds High School and was employed as an Union Representative at the former Damascus Tube Corp. for 30 years. He was a member of Reynolds V.F.W Post #7599 and Greenville Family Moose Center #276.
Ron enjoyed golfing, reading, and playing corn-hole.
He is survived by a daughter; Tracy Carothers and her husband Chad of Jamestown, a son; Ronald L. Coxson, Jr. of Salem, OH, a brother; Randy Coxson and his wife Vicki of Greenville, a sister-in-law; Jacqueline Coxson of Georgia, two grandchildren; Madison and Carter Carothers and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Coxson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

The heavens have gained a great angel in Ron. May he finally be without pain and with Our Lord in heaven. Rest in Peace, Ron.

I cherish the times these past few years I got to spend with Ron planning and enjoying our class gatherings at the Reynolds VFW. I speak for all of us in that group, “We will miss you dearly Ron “.
