Rose Morris, age 34, of Greenville, Pa, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 in UPMC Hamot, Erie from an allergic reaction.
She was born on March 29, 1988, to Terri Ellis Morris and Jeffry Morris, Sr.
Rose graduated from Greenville High School in 2007 and was employed by the Werner Corporation.
Rose’s life was filled with people-family and friends that became family; interests including music, art, history, and politics. She was an avid kayaker and loved a day floating down the river with her friends. Her laugh was infectious and her ability to form and sustain lasting relationships was a foundational part of what made her an amazing human being. Rose embraced what made each of us different and unique and celebrated those differences. She was secure in who she was and lived an authentic life, comfortable with her journey.
She had a gypsy soul and was always ready for travel and an adventure. Whether it was a trip to Greece or travel around the United States from California to Florida, DC to Tennessee-everywhere Rose went she made friends and took a little part of each place into her soul.
She loved her animals. Oliver, the cat with a hunter’s personality and a feisty demeanor and Daisy, her new love, the great dane puppy that opened the world of show competitions to Rose. An arena she was learning to love and was becoming an important part of planning her future.
Rose was preceded in death by her Mother Terri, whom she adored and Uncles Keith, Tim, Sam, Butchie and Donny and an Aunt Shirley. She is survived by her father Jeffrey, Sr. and her brother Jeffrey Morris, Jr as well as her Grandmother Roselie Ellis, and her beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be mourned by her family and countless friends, who will be forever touched by her generous, vivacious spirit.
Memorial contributions may be made to Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.

My sincere condolences to the family & friends of Rose. What a beautiful gal!!!! The same age as my own daughter – so young – and a reminder of just how fragile life truly is.

Rose was so great to us in connecting our Environmental Safety Management Program at Thiel with Werner. She was instrumental in us receiving donations as well as speakers coming to talk with our students. We are forever grateful.
