Sally D. Davis, age 83, of East Ave., Greenville, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in St. Paul’s.

Mrs. Davis was born in Oil City, PA on March 18, 1933 to Archie and Louise (Greer) Putnam.  She was a 1951 graduate of Oil City High School and received her nursing degree from Indiana University. 

Sally had been employed as a Registered Nurse in the Erie area.  She was a member of Greenville Moose Family Center #276 as well as a lifetime member of Greenville VFW Post #3374.  Her other interests included golfing, bowling, crocheting and trips to the casino and horse track. 

On July 4, 1954 she married James R. Davis, he passed away June 5, 2001. 

She is survived by three daughters, Jane Storm and her husband Harry of Cranberry Twp., Sally Hill and her husband Duane of Greenville and Karen Groce and her husband Kevin of Greenville; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be private.  Inurnment of cremains will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
