Sanford L. āLeeā Weimert, age 82, of Bush Rd., W. Shenango Twp., Jamestown, PA, passed away Monday morning, June 18, 2018 in The Grove at Greenville.Ā
He was born in Hopewell Twp., Bedford Co., PA on January 25, 1936 to Sanford H. and Erma Maude (Snyder) Weimert. Ā Lee served in the U.S. Army and retired after 41 years of employment in the maintenance department of Target Stamping.Ā He enjoyed farming his property for many years and working in his wood shop.Ā
Lee is survived by his brother, James F. Weimert of Jamestown.Ā
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Margaret Smith and Betty Kelso and two brothers, Lloyd Weimert and Cloyd Weimert.
Per Lee's wishes, there will be no services held.Ā Inurnment of cremains will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown.
As a young girl Uncle Lee would take me to the drivein movies on Saturday nights with my cousins Rick and Jeff. Sunday afternoons we would go to Greenville bowling. He was always cheerful, good hearted, and loved comic books.
