Scott R. Chizmar, age 43, of Mullen Rd., Jamestown passed away Saturday morning, December 17, 2016 in Greene Twp., from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Mr. Chizmar was born in Erie on March 1, 1973 son of Richard and Debbie (Martell) Chizmar. He was a 1991 graduate of Jamestown High School, where he excelled on the wrestling team. He served in the United States Marine Corp. and was a member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church.
He was employed as a welder at Sharpsville Container Corp. and previously worked at Excalibur Machine Co., Linesville. Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing the drums in his band "Justin Sayne".
Scott is survived by his parents of Jamestown; a daughter, Kayla Chizmar of Jamestown; his companion, Victoria Wood of Williamsfield, OH; a sister, Brandy Wilkerson and her husband Phillip of Greenville; a nephew, Jarred Wilkerson; two nieces, Taylor Wilkerson and Tessa Wilkerson; an uncle, Gary Chizmar; two aunts, Charlene Chizmar and Darlene Carnes; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chad Chizmar; his paternal grandparents, Steve and Dorothy Chizmar; and his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Martell.

No words or comfort can take your pain away. Was in disbelief when I heard the news. I went to school with Scott and he always had a smile on his face. Although I have not seen him in a few years, I will always have those school memories of him. You have my deepest sympathy during this difficult time.
I am so very sorry for your loss. This is such a tragedy and he will be missed by so many. There are no words to bring you comfort at this time but there are so many of us keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart aches with you. He was my rock as we went through boot camp together. I can’t believe he’s gone. I know now he is standing guard at the gates of heaven. It’s what us Marines do.

Just know we are truly thinking of you and your whole family since we had heard this saddening news. We are so sorry Tim and I couldn’t make the funeral, but it is with a very sincere heart we write to you. We watched your video of Scott and it brought sadness and tears in our heart to only imagine your pain and sorrow.
