
Shannon Swartz, age 32, of Masury, OH and formerly of Jamestown, passed at her home unexpectedly of natural causes with her wife and pets at her side on Monday morning, February 22, 2021.
She was born September 4, 1988 in Greenville to Delmar Swartz, Jr. and Connie (Starcher) Swartz. She married Kimberly Diefenderfer on September 22, 2017, she survives. Shannon was a 2007 graduate of Jamestown High School and received her Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting from Hiram College in Johnstown. For the past seven years she has been employed as a Drafting Engineer at Pilkington Drafting in Dorset, OH.
Shannon loved to be outdoors, tinkering in the garage, traveling, going to fairs and concerts, spending time with family and friends, having a good time laughing and making memories. But most importantly, spending time with her wife and pets.
In addition to her wife she is survived by her mother, Connie Swartz; three bothers, Shaun Swartz, Jeremy Swartz and his wife Olivia and nephew Grayson and Joshua Swartz, all of Jamestown, a step-daughter Nicole and two step-grandchildren, Kailynne and Chase, a golden retriever Riley and cat Chloe. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 3:00-6:00pm in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Memorial contributions may be made to Strayhaven Animal Shelter 94 Donation Rd. Greenville, PA 16125.

It’s hard to recount a childhood memory that doesn’t involve Shannon. Growing up on Chestnut St would not have been the same without her and for that I will always be grateful. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that I’m lifting you all up in prayer.
