Stephen S. Bayuk, age 50, of St. Paul's Continuing Care Community, passed away Saturday afternoon November 9, 2019 in the ER of UPMC Horizon Greenville.
He was born in Sharon, PA on March 31, 1968 to Paul M. and Joyce E. (Meehan) Bayuk. Stephen was a 1980 graduate of Reynolds High School and was a life time member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, where he sang in the choir for many years. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus Fitzmartin Council #1446.
Stephen loved going to casinos, cheering for Pittsburgh Sports Teams, entusiastically enjoying anything to do with the Star Wars Universe, and listening to Doo-Wop music.
But most of all he will be remembered for his cheerfulness and smile, his up-beat attitude and the happiness he brought to others. Everyone was his friend. He will be missed not only by his family but also the residents of St. Paul's. Stephen's family would like to extend a special thanks to the St. Paul's staff and especially to the staff in the Willows B neighborhood who lovingly cared for Stephen the last five years of his life. They truly embraced him as part of their Eden family.
Contributions in Stephen's memory can be made to St. Paul's Auxiliary, 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.

Stephen,
I grew up next door to you and your beautiful family. I will always remember your smile and loving nature each time you greeted us. May you Rest In Peace forever in the arms of our Lord.
I will always love Stevie….he spit a loogie on my wiffle bat in gym class and rubbed it in and handed it to me, I took it and said thank you and have never forgot that gesture gross but sweet , he always had the best intentions..One of the purest best guys ever !
Always enjoyed it when Stevie helped direct the band at RHS! Rest well, buddy.
Every time I saw Steven he always gave me a little smile , even though he knew what I was going to do as I walked into his room with my scrubs on! He always just stared at me with his big eyes and smile and studied everything I said! I will very much miss the joy I felt when I saw him and that intense stare and smile he always gave me!
Stephen was an absolute joy to care for even when he wasn’t feeling well he always had a smile for us
He was a bright spot in this world. RIP Stevie
Our father was Stephen’s roommate at St.Pauls. We so enjoyed getting to know Stephen and are deeply saddened by his passing. Stephen’s smile would light up the room. He would come over to visit with all of us and share “words of wisdom ” for our two sons. When Stephen’s 50th birthday was drawing near, our boys wanted to get him a gift and of course it had to be Star Wars! At the dinner table he would always tell us he was working very hard to be able/allowed to eat pizza someday. We pray he is singing with the angels and eating his pizza! We will miss you Stephen!
Enjoy heaven Stephen, you will be missed !
Dearest Bayuk family, It is with our deepest sympathy for the passing of Stephen…he was a blessing to all and we are blessed to have had him in our lives.
Loving regards from Canada, Mary and Family Kukovica
Such a sweet man! Always enjoyed working with him at St Paul’s. Always smiling and had a story or song to share. He generally sang “I wanna hold your hand” to me. That song will forever remind me of him. The heavens are now one star brighter with him there. I hope there’s pizza Rest in peace Stephen. We will miss you down here!
I went to school with Steven’s dad, Paul. So sorry to hear of Steven’s passing. He was quite the character. He knew everything about sports and and the music especially from the 50s and 60s. He was our DJ at many of our class reunions. God has called another angel to be with Him
My deepest sympathies to Steve’s family. He added a great deal of happiness to Reynolds High School when I knew him there. He always had a smile and a kind word for the staff when he would stop in the guidance office. His kindness will be missed.
To the Complete Bayuk family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sadness. May the beautiful memories that you shared with Stephen be etched into your hearts forever!
Stephen was such a nice young man.
