
Sterle L. Gillispie, age 79, of N. Summit Rd., Jamestown, passed away Sunday morning, March 28, 2021 in his residence.
He was born in Arbovale, WV on September 21, 1941 a son of Delbert L. and Mae S. (Snyder) Gillispie. He was a 1959 graduate of Green Bank School in Green Bank, WV and served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was previously employed at General Electric Company for 30 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Anita Hartz and her companion Ed White of Adamsville; a son Terry Gillispie and his wife Tina of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Nancy, Nadine, and Susan; four brothers, Johnny, Julian, Wayne, and Steven; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three children, and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held on Friday April 2, 2021 at 1:00pm in Arbovale Cemetery, Arbovale, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Strayhaven Inc., 94 Donation Rd., Greenville, PA 16125. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.

Anita, prayers lifted for you and all the families during this time of Earthly loss. Your Earthly dad has returned home to his father and will see all again one day.

Anita, Not sure if you remember us or not but you use to babysit, our son Stephen when we lived on Royal Road in Jamestown. It’s been many years ago most definitely. We always remember you as being a very sweet young lady.
