Susan Elizabeth (Kneeland) McElhinny, age 61, of W. County Line Rd., Jamestown, passed away Wednesday morning, January 27, 2021.

She was born in Grove City on June 27, 1959 to Roy and Lois (Butler) Kneeland. Susan was a 1977 graduate of Reynolds Highs School and later coached cheerleading and soccer at St. Michael School. She was a Homemaker and was very active with her children's sports and activities. She was known for her fun loving attitude and especially known for her baking and being the driver for many “TP-ing” escapades.

Susan later went on to work at a few community businesses such as the Jamestown Camp Store and Jamestown Elementary School.

On April 16, 1977, she married Lawrence “Len” McElhinny, Sr., he passed away on December 1, 2006. She is survived by her mother Lois Kneeland; her children, Mrs. Keith (Rachel) Mariacher of Greenville, Mrs. Eric (Becky) Vestorsky of Sharpsville, Lawrence (Melanie) McElhinny, Jr. of Grove City and Brandon “BJ” (Mackenzie) McElhinny of Altoona; grandchildren, Shelby McElhinny and Fiance' Sam, Leah Mariacher, Trey Payne , Isabella Thompson, Grace Mariacher, Maddeline and Landon Vestorsky, Jackson McElhinny and Carter McElhinny; a brother, Roy (Chris) Kneeland of Jamestown; brothers and sister-in-laws; Tony (Janice) McElhinny of Grove City, Charles (Marsha) McElhinny of Franklin, John (Linda) McElhinny of Greenville, Joseph (Joni) McElhinny of Greenville, James “Bib” (Barbie) McElhinny of Kinsman, OH, Barbara Burrows, Natalie McCloskey and Terry (Kate) Hassell all of Greenville, a special friend and sister-in-law, Sandy McElhinny and several nieces, nephews and cousins who were all very special to her. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, her mother and father-in-law, two brothers, Keith and Leslie Kneeland, a sister, Charlotte, brother-in-laws Phil McCloskey and Larry Burrows and a nephew Larry Burrows, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael School Endowment Fund, 85 N. High St., Greenville or to Jamestown Lions Club, 404 Jackson St., Jamestown, PA 16134.
