Thomas J. Goodlin, age 74, of Chestnut St., Jamestown passed away Thursday morning, June 16, 2022 in his residence. He was born in Greenville on October 3, 1947 a son of Alfred and Lois (Williamson) Goodlin. He was a 1966 graduate of Greenville High School and on December 9, 1967 Tom married the former Jo Ann Donner, she survives. He was a member Church of Christ.

He was previously employed at Wolf Motors for 15 years, Jim Sarvis Car Dealership for 7 years, and was the manager at Griffin Motors both in Franklin and Meadville for 22 years until his retirement. Tom enjoyed golfing, watching his children and grandchildren play sports and truly enjoyed spending time with family. He was a quick witted guy who was a master of one liners.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by two sons, Larry Goodlin and his wife Lori of Greenville, Thomas J. Goodlin II of Sharpsville; a daughter, Wendi Arnold and her husband Tod of Jamestown; two sisters, Susan Lynch and her husband Robert of Greenville, Mary Beth Alexander and her husband James of Fredonia; seven grandchildren, Alexis Doberiener and her husband Blake, Jessie Arnold and her fiance Danny Bates, Hunter Goodlin, Jacob Arnold, Jed Goodlin, Maggie Goodlin, and Ashleigh Evans; two great grandchildren that were known to Tom as his two little Indians Eliza and Vayda Doberiener and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

    Dear JoAnn & the Complete Family, My heart is saddened to hear that Tom had passed away. I always enjoyed his company when we both worked at Jim Sarvas CPD, Inc. He always kept Shirley & I into stitches over his funny one liners most definitely. Seriously, what a great guy….. He will be missed.
