I just met Troy the other day at the post office for the first time. We got talking and he showed me his VW bus and told me how he went out west to get it. He said it was on its 4th engine! He was a nice and happy guy and left a big impression after just spending 4 or five minutes with him. I was shocked to find his obit here when looking for another one on this page. My prayers and condolences to the family and I hope he was ushered into glory in a big VW bus!
We want to send our thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time. Matt and I saw him at a car show at the firemans club a while ago with his VW bus. We also saw him at a convention in Pittsburgh. Matt and him talked awhile. He was a thoughtful, caring person. He will be greatly missed.
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Carol Tracy Todd and family I’m still in a state of shock I had just talked with Troy a couple of days before he passed. Just goes to show you God had a need for a special guy in Heaven… As I called him my Hippie cousin. I’m sure he is with the rest of the family and friends that have gone on before him.. In that place where there is no Sunset and no Dawning but Everlasting Peace. But until that day comes for each of us know that I have asked the Lord to bring each of us a inter Peace Comfort and Joy for having given Troy to us.. Hugs Love and Prayers Greg
