William R. Dunn, age 64, of Mercer, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2021 in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Greenville on April 1, 1957 a son of William E. and Emily F. (Roth) Dunn. He was a 1975 graduate of Greenville High School where he played football, basketball, and sang in the choir. He was employed as a Farrior for over 40 years and most recently worked for various townships and Martuccio Paving. He was of the Lutheran faith. Bill enjoyed doing dog agility with his three dogs Hawk, Gretta, and Lucy, snowmobiling, ATV riding, camping, traveling, and sailing.
He is survived by his long time companion, Ann Rogers of Mercer; a daughter, Kristy L. (Dunn) Fox; a sister Elizabeth “Beth” R. (Dunn) Harpst and her companion Ed Pitcher of Fredonia; two grandchildren, Jacob Fox and Emily Fox. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Mark Harpst.

To the Dunn family. I’m very sorry for your loss. Bill use to live across from my family on Mercer road and he use to shoe my horse. I remember him as always cheerful and always willing to help. . My sympathies to your family

Ann and family so sorry to hear of bills passing. As Ann knows I was a supervisor with him he was a great person. I was trying to get in touch with him but now I know so sorry for you loss. So God will heal all in time prayers are with you all.
