I will always remember your father Bevin. He was a gem. One of the nicest people I’ve ever known. I really loved his piano playing and the grace and dignity he possessed as he entertained. His reverence for music enhanced many of people throughout his life. Now, Bill is resting in the arms of Jesus. He had so many stories of the farm, his parents, and of course you Bevin. I enjoyed and loved all of those times he and I talked I will miss him for all that he was. We lost a great talent.

I was always told that your day of death is more important to God than your day of birth. This saying came to me and comforted me when my parents passed away. I hope it will bring some comfort for everyone who loved Bill.

I have so many fond memories of Bill. He was an integral part of the music community in Greenville, and got to know my family through our mutual love of music. My grandmother was Celia Kaufman Clarke, and my mother was Nila Beaver. It was a thrill to watch Bill perform with the Greenville Symphony! Bill has now joined his many friends in God’s orchestra, and I pray that will bring you some comfort. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.

    Bevin,
Your dad was one of the kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His musical talent far surpassed any of his peers…..He was a gentle man with firmness and integrity that will be missed far beyond words. Rest assured that when he spoke of you, he sparkled. Working with him at the Railroad made it fun….
