William K. Richards, age 75, of Washington St., Jamestown, passed away on Monday afternoon, January 2, 2017 in UPMC Horizon Greenville.
He was born in Punxsutawney, PA on May 16, 1941 to James and Olive (London) Richards. Bill was a 1960 graduate of Punxsutawney High School and served in the United States Army. He was employed at Sawhill Tubular Products, Wheatland, PA for 15 years and was previously employed in maintenance at Sunset Condos, Fort Myers Beach, FL for 15 years. Bill was a volunteer with at Jamestown V.F.D. for many years and he truly enjoyed fishing, going on cruises, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Cadman) Richards whom he married on July 15, 1978; three daughters, Debbie Reiber, Cindy Preisel, and Kim Scobbie-Byler; three sons, Billy Richards, Jr., Tom Luckock, and Mike Luckock; two sisters, Barb Ellenburger of Punxsutawney, PA, Sandra Mantal of Ocala, FL; a brother, Jim Richards and his wife Letty of Dayton, OH; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Chuck and I are so sorry for the loss of Bill. He was a great uncle and was a wonderful husband to Carol. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sorry we could not be there, but we will be thinking of you and praying god gives you the strenght you will need during this difficult time. We love you all.
