Alan C. Lotarski, age 65, of Lake Lane, Jamestown, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 surrounded by his family in UPMC Hamot. He was born in Detroit, MI on July 3, 1958 to Ronald A. and Shirley (Richardson) Lotarski.
Alan was a graduate of John Glenn High School and served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant from 1982-1989. He was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, Jamestown and the Jamestown V.F.W. Post #5424. Alan enjoyed cooking, boating and fishing, classic cars and car racing, watching Judge Judy and being outdoors. He also had a true love of baseball.
On April 16, 1987 he married the former Susan M. Jardy, she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Teresa Petty (Kyle) of Enfield, CT; a son, Sean A. Lotarski of Pittsburgh; his mother, Shirley Sleeper of Fowlerville, MI; a sister, Renee Spaulding (Rich) of Canton, MI; a brother, Mark Lotarski (Joan) of Hamilton, OH and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024 in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, with Father Raymond Gramata as celebrant. Jamestown V.F.W. Post #5424 Honor Guard will render military honors at the conclusion of the mass. Visitation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jamestown Food Pantry and mailed to CFS 213 W. Center St., Meadville, PA 16335. Arrangements have been entrusted to LOUTZENHISER-JORDAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
