Albert E. Kremis, age 93, formerly of Greenville, passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2024 in The Lakes At Jefferson, Mercer. He was born in Kremis, PA on October 11, 1930 to Albert and Alverda (Hunnell) Kremis.

Al was a 1948 graduate of the former Fredonia High School and had been employed for over 40 years at Dean Food (formerly Beverly Farms Dairy) in Greenville. He was an active member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenville, where he served on church council and the property committee and sang in the choir. Al had been a past volunteer at the Good Shepherd Center. He was an avid golfer and was fortunate enough to have recorded 3 hole-in-ones in his lifetime. He also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

On September 12, 1953, he married the former D. Yvonne Taylor, she preceded him in death on April 16, 2007. Al is survived by his one daughter, Patricia (Francis) Krugh of Naples, FL; two sons, Bruce Kremis of Santa Anna, CA and Jeffrey (Jean) Kremis of Greenville, one granddaughter, Lisa (William) Alchier, two step-granddaughters, Nadena (Leigh) Wheeler and Nanette (Bill) Biery, and one great-granddaughter, Grace Alchier. He is also survived by a sister, Martha Anderson of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, Howard Kremis, Richard Kremis and William Kremis.
