home on Sunday at 6:00pm.  The family kindly asks that
all in attendance of services please wear a mask.

Anna Jane Deason, age 98, of Fredonia, passed away Tuesday evening, July 19, 2022 and she is now reunited with her husband Fred.

She was born in Greenville on April 6, 1924 to Kenneth E. and Ada E. (Cline) Fike. Jane was a 1942 graduate of Penn High School. She was a Homemaker and had previously been employed in the cafeteria of Greenville High School and as a Secretary at Thiel College. She was an active member of Fredonia Presbyterian Church, where she was a past Elder and served as President of the Women's Association.

Jane was a sixty year member and past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Greenville Chapter #63 and was a current member of the Mercer Chapter #180. She served the same amount of years with White Shrine and was a past Mother Adviser of Rainbow Girls #97. She enjoyed cooking and quilting and was a wonderful hostess to her family and friends. On October 10, 1942 she married Fred O. Deason, he passed away on July 20, 2005.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Peterson and her husband Larry of Atlanta, GA, a son, Frederick Lee Deason and his wife Karen of Greenville, a sister, Kathryn Gehres, two brothers, John Slater and Donald Slater, all of Florida, four grandchildren, Alison (Deason) Druckemiller, Amy (Peterson) Relyea, Kirk Deason and Susie (Peterson) Yuhasz, five great grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Fike and her mother, Ada McCartney and a brother, Kenneth Fike.

Burial will be in Delaware Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Greystone Country Estates, 424 Delaware St., Fredonia, PA 16124.
