Barbara J. Foltz

Barbara J. Foltz, age 88, of Transfer was called home to her Heavenly Father on Monday evening, October 14, 2024.

She was born on August 11, 1936 in Rayne Twp., Indiana County, PA to Harry and Clarabelle (Gearhart) Kelly. Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Marion Center High School and was a lifelong homemaker.

She was a faithful member of Harvest Baptist Church, Greenville and enjoyed sewing, walking, and her puppies.

Barbara married Dalton L. Foltz, Sr. on June 30, 1956. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2012.

She is survived by four daughters: Barbara Gill of Transfer, Deborah (Mark) Swick of Espyville, Donna Herrick of Mercer, and Patty Jones of Greenville; three sons: Dalton (Tammi) Foltz, Jr. of West Middlesex, Daniel Foltz of Greenville, and David (Lisa) Foltz of West Middlesex; a sister, Mary Ellen Ravey of Oakland, FL; a brother, Norman (Billie) Kelly of Macon, GA; thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is preceded in death by her mother; an infant sister; her father; a brother, Carl Gearhart; and two sons-in-law, Wesley Gill and David Herrick. 

Services:

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, 10/26/24, in Harvest Baptist Church, 516 E. Jamestown Rd. Greenville, with Pastor Jeremy McClain officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Baptist Church Camp Fund, 516 E. Jamestown Rd. Greenville, PA 16125.
