Barbara A. Herrmann, age 84, of Brentwood Dr., Pymatuning Twp., Greenville, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday evening, February 10, 2023 in St. Paul’s Senior Living Community.

She was born in Grove City, PA on July 31, 1938 to Verle L. and Ruth G. (Thompson) McGranahan. Barb was a 1956 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and her first job was cleaning the Adamsville Two Room School House when she was in elementary school. After high school graduation she worked in the office of J.R Andrews in Adamsville and then was employed as a Secretary at Niagra Co., working in Adamsville and Brockton, NY. She finished her working career with the Greenville Water Authority, where she had been employed for thirty-six years.

Barb was a member of South Pymatuning Community Church. Since she was a teenager until she was in her 70’s she played the organ at Adamsville Presbyterian Church and South Pymatuning Community Church, including many weddings. She enjoyed traveling and had visited Israel with her late husband. Barb was an extremely kind person who showed her faith by the way she lived her life.

On August 18, 1973 she married Clyde L. Hermann, he passed away on February 20, 2014. She is survived by three step-daughters; Beverly Beck and her husband William of New Bedford, PA, Karen Paugh and her husband Rocky of Wheatland, PA and Carol Hermann of Wheatland, PA, two sisters; Betty Gosnell and her husband Wilson of Atlantic and Cheryl McGranahan of Greenville, a brother; Clifford McGranahan and his wife Sandy of Jamestown, two step-grandchildren; Tamara Rosenfeldt and her husband Nicholas and William Beck and his wife Brittany, eight step-great grandchildren; Abby, Caleb and Noah Rosenfeldt, Sidney and Colson Beck, John Herrmann and Brandon and Kyle Roqueplot, a sister-in-law; Norma McGranahan and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother; Lawrence McGranahan, two step-grandsons; Daniel and David Roqueplot and a nephew; Brian Gosnell.
