Beatrice Mary Kitko Slywczak, age 97, formerly of Jamestown, was peacefully called to eternal life on October 25, 2021 in Conneautville, PA.
She was born March 11,1924, in Greene, OH to Steve and Susie (Stroker) Kitko into a loving family of Slovak immigrants who settled in Madera, PA. In 1948 she married Harry Slywczak and became a lifelong resident of Jamestown, Pa. During WWII, Beatrice was a "Rosie the Riveter", wiring at Packard Electric in Warren, OH. Beatrice was a communicant of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Kinsman, OH. She spent enjoyable time visiting family, working craft fairs with sister Margaret, reading, selling Avon, and doing the crossword puzzle with Harry.
Surviving children are Joan (Peter) Petersen of Maine, Susan Kotula of W. Springfield, Karen Slywczak of Espyville, Ellen (Mike) Ruddy of Florida, twins Jean Malarik of Hermitage and Gene H. of Jamestown, grandson, whom she helped raise, Gene A. (Mark) of Sharpsville and other grandchildren Jessica, Katrina, Tristan, Brandon, Remy,7 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Margaret Stanhope of Kinsman and Pittsburgh and Lucille Huston of Wellsville,OH. Beatrice was predeceased in death by her husband, brothers Joseph, Adam, Frank, David, Matthew and sisters Ellen and Pam.
