Benedict P. Santell, age 71, of W. Marley Rd., Jamestown, passed away Thursday afternoon, September 14, 2023 in the ER at UPMC Greenville. He was born in Sharon on March 21, 1952 a son of John and Helen (Smaltz) Santell.

He was a 1971 graduate of Badger High School and on June 8, 1979, Benedict married the former Joyce L. Ginson, she survives. He was employed at Packard Electric for 33 years and was a custodian at UPMC Greenville for 3 years. He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church and Loyal Order of Moose, Corland, OH. Benedict enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandsons.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son David P. Santell and his wife Alexandra of Scott AFB, IL; two sisters, Geraldine Dewell and Mary Frances Sohayda; three brothers, Gerald Santell, John Santell, and Tim Santell; two grandsons, Tristan Santell and Lucas Santell. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Christopher Santell.
