Bonnie L. Lorigan, age 79, of S. River Rd., Delaware Twp., Greenville passed away Sunday afternoon, April 20, 2025, in her residence.
She was born in Sharon on November 7, 1945 to Joseph and Emma (Livermore) Parker and was a graduate of Mercer High School.
Bonnie was of the Methodist Faith and was a member of Reynolds VFW Post #7599 Auxiliary. A devoted homemaker, Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and most of all spending time with her family and her friend Rosemary. She especially loved her dog “Bella.”
On September 5, 1970, Bonnie married Harry L. Lorigan; he passed away February 22, 2018.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth (Brad) Diefenderfer, of Transfer and a granddaughter, Rachel Diefenderfer.
In addition to her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Parker.
Services:
A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, 4/24/25, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville, with Rev. Eric Peters, Pastor of Fredonia Presbyterian Church, officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Thursday, 4/24/25, from 3:00 PM until time of service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
