Carole Harrison Johnson, age 64, of Fredonia, PA, passed away Thursday morning, May 9, 2024 in UPMC Hamot. She was born in Pittsburgh PA on January 19, 1960 to George and Alberta Harrison.
Carole was a graduate of Jamestown High School and The Mercer County Career Center. She worked at the former Greenville County Club for years making many lifelong friends. She was currently employed at Thiel College for the past 23 years and loved interacting with the students. She referred to them as “her kids” and they lovingly called her “Miss Carole”. Carole loved music, collecting antiques and all sorts of trinkets. She enjoyed sitting on her porch surrounded by her flowers and her cat Cooper.
On February 14, 1984 Carole married Brian Johnson, he preceded her in death. She later found her loving partner of 17 years Tom Urban. In addition, Carole is survived by a brother, Gary Harrison and his wife Gail of Novelty, OH; a sister, Bonnie Doeberiener and her husband Pete of Jamestown; a nephew Kevin Doeberiener of West Salem, OH and a niece Shelby Doeberiener of Conneaut Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Per Carole’s wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Strayhaven, 94 Donation Rd., Greenville, PA 16125. All arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
