Charles W. “Bill” Peden, age 81, of Greenville, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 12, 2023 in UPMC Greenville.  He was born in Greenville on February 16, 1942 a son of Harry and Florence (Jessop) Peden.

Bill attended St. Michael High School and served his country in the United States Army and Navy for 24 years. He had been employed as a Stock Room Supervisor at Gabriel's Department Store in Hermitage.  He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville and Knights of Columbus. He is survived by two sisters, Florence Garrett and Delores Holzaphel and her husband Frederick all of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters Margaret Zuschlag, Hilda Pinney, Alice Turner and Nellie Kusich, three brothers Harry Peden, Ray Peden, and Alfred L. “Skip” Peden.
