Dale F. “Fred” Herron, age 79, of Conneaut Lake Rd., Sugar Grove Twp., Greenville, passed away with his family by his side on Friday evening, December 23, 2022.

He was born in Greenville on April 4, 1943 to Joseph and Thelma (Baker) Herron. Fred attended Jamestown High School and had been employed in repair for thirty years at GM Lordstown. He enjoyed vacationing in Florida, eating out at new restaurants and working on cars, especially his 1951 Mercury kit car that he built.

On October 6, 1962 he married the former Charlene M. Radish, she survives. Also surviving are two sons; Stephen J. Herron (Tom Williams) of Liberty Twp., OH and Richard A. Herron of Greenville, a sister; Irene Brocklehurst of Greenville and two grandchildren; Richard A. Herron, Jr. and Christine Herron. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Edward Herron.
