David Carlson

David L. Carlson, age 76, of Kennard Rd., Sugar Grove Twp., Greenville, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in his residence.

He was born in Greenville on March 31, 1946 to Elmer A. and Violet L. (Hopkins) Carlson. Dave was a graduate of Greenville High School and he retired from Conrail, where he had worked in the railroad maintenance department for many years. In addition, he had served as a Sugar Grove Twp. Supervisor. He was a member of the Stoney Point Grange and the Greenville Italian Home Club. Dave enjoyed farming and raising horses.

He is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Martha Foy and three brothers; Edward Carlson, Robert Carlson and James Carlson.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4:00-6:00pm in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Burial will be in Stevenson Cemetery.
