David H. Chase, Sr., age 69, of Fredonia Rd., Hempfield Twp., Greenville, passed away Saturday morning, February 11, 2023 in Andover Village.

He was born in Greenville on November 21, 1953 to James Darrell Chase, Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth (Moyer) Chase. David was a 1972 graduate of Kiski Private Boys School. He was employed as an engineer for twenty-eight years at Garvin Inc. in Adamsville and then worked as an engineer at Premier Hydraulics in Farrell. He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, where he served as an usher, lecturer and eucharistic minister. David had been a past Boy Scout Master and his hobbies included, fixing things, model airplanes, 3D printing, woodworking and working on cars.

On July 3, 1972 he married the former Cheryl A. Wasser, she survives. Also surviving are two daughters; Kimberly Paglia and her husband Tony of Mercer and Jennifer Adsit and her husband Chris of Stoneboro, three sons; David H. Chase, Jr. and his wife Andrea of Portland, TX, Bradley Chase of Adamsville and Jonathan Chase and his fiancé Jessica of Farrell, a sister; Dinah Marburger and her husband Rick of Alpharetta, GA, a brother; Jay Chase and his wife Janey of The Villages, FL, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Carol and Karen.

Memorial contributions may be made the family to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
