Dave was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania, on August 19, 1942, the youngest of five children of the late Leo and Mabel (Snodgrass) Sherbondy. He was employed many years by the Greenville Tube Company in Reynolds. Later in life, he worked for Sugar Grove Township and The Old Furniture Shop with his brother, Dick Sherbondy. Dave and his mother Mabel enjoyed summer vacations at the Christian Admiral in Cape May, New Jersey. In recent years, Dave took several bus trips with friends. He participated in various social activities at the Greenville House and his Wii bowling skills were well renown.

Dave was the last family member to leave the homestead on Ray Road, Kennard, where his parents and siblings had lived since 1942. Year after year David maintained large and productive vegetable gardens. Upon selling the farm, Dave resided at the Greenville House until his health declined in April 2022.

Dave is survived by twelve nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 South Main St., Greenville. There will be no funeral service per Dave’s wishes.
