David Wilson

David Matthew Paul Wilson, 54, passed away on June 25, 2024, in Harrisville, PA. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he graduated from its Trinity High School and from Thiel College.

Married for 26 years to Carolyn Forbes, they raised their son James in Shippensburg and Greenville, PA. Loving brother to Mary Beth Gold of Washington, PA; Leigh Ann Frohnapfel (David) of Canonsburg, PA; and Joseph of Germany. Beloved nephew of Lee Wilson, Canonsburg, PA. Uncle to Amy Schott (Josh) of Washington, PA, who lovingly guided the treatment of his illness; Cory Gold; Eric Frohnapfel; Jonathan and Alex Batselos; and Louis and Sam Patterson. He was predeceased by his parents Carole and Eigie Wilson of Washington, PA.

David was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed coin collecting. He served in both the U.S. Army as a security and intelligence analyst and in the PA National Guard. A funeral will be held at the chapel of Shenango Valley Cemetery in Greenville, PA at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, July 3. Memorial donations to First Presbyterian Church, 323 Main Street, Greenville, PA 16125, may be made in lieu of flowers.
