Deborah A. "Debbie" Chess, age 71, of Progress St., Greenville, passed away Thursday morning, April 4, 2024. She was born in Greenville on September 27, 1952 to Donald L. and Mary Lena (Barbarossa) Snodgrass. Debbie was a 1971
graduate of Greenville High school and had been employed for over forty years in the Housekeeping department of UPMC Horizon. She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville. Debbie was an animal lover and also enjoyed reading and gardening.

She was married to Rodney Chess who preceded her in death. Debbie is survived by her sister, Cheryl Swartz of Greenville; a niece, Kelly Zoky and her husband Troy of Greenville; two nephews, Matthew Swartz of Greenville and Shane Snodgrass of Ormond Beach, FL and two great nieces, Alexis and Grace Zoky. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother; Wesley Snodgrass.
