Deborah Jewell

Deborah J. Jewell, age 65, of Church Rd., Greenville passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 in St. Paul's Senior Living Community.

She was born in Sharon on March 5, 1956 to Floyd and M. Lamond (Matthews) Hice. In 1978 Deb married Edward Herrmann, he passed away in 1987; In 2002 Deb married Richard Jewell, he passed away in 2007. She was employed at Walmart in Greenville, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed attending flea markets, cooking, gardening, talking, watching QVC, and collecting Cherish Teddies.

She is survived by three children, Missy Wheaton (Rick Lineberger) of Transfer, Mark Herrmann ( Ashley) of Albany, GA, and Michelle Ser; a sister, Dorothy Crain and her husband David of Youngstown, PA; a brother, John Hice and his wife Karen of Masury, OH; five grandchildren, Gary Wheaton III, Mariia Wheaton, Lucas Herrmann, Marissa Herrmann, and Jared Ser; three great grandchildren, Madalynn, Carter, and Waylon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two brothers, Richard Hice and James Hice.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Inurnment will be in Transfer Cemetery.
