Debra A. Dye, age 61, of Hamburg Rd., Greenville passed away Saturday evening, February 18, 2023 in her residence.

She was born in Meadville on March 17, 1961 a daughter of James G. and Florence G. (Brocklehurst) Knapp. She was a 1979 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and Crawford County Vo-Tech. On June 6, 1981 Debbie married Douglas Dye, he survives. She was a Clinical Clerk at Greenville Medical Center for 10 years, was a Teacher's Aid at Greenville High School for many years, and a Title Clerk at Interstate Auto Auction. She was a member of Bethel Life Worship Center , Greenville. She was active with Boy Scout's Troop #92 in Greenville and 4H during her youth. Debbie enjoyed car cruises, car shows with her husband, sewing with her friends, and Freddy's Ice Cream Parlor in Greenville.

In addition to her husband Doug of 41 years, she is survived by a son, Brandon Dye and his partner Cati Derrenbacher; a brother, John Knapp and his wife Mary Ann of Conneaut Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, friend and was a strong fighter throughout her 24 years of illness.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 24, 2023 in Bethel Life Worship Center, 246 S. Mercer St., Greenville with Rev. Kent Bell, Pastor of the church, officiating. Family will receive friends immediately following the service and all are invited to a luncheon in the church. Inurnment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mercer. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
